We went and heard the heartbeat today. It was a really cool experience. It kind of gives validation that there is actually something in there and that we aren't crazy. Shawn was surprised how fast the heartbeat was.
So far, the pregnancy has been good. I haven't been very sick aside from the occasional nausea. I am hungry all the time, but very few things actually sound good. I went for a while when Subway sandwiches were the only thing that sounded good and then for a while it was french fries and celery. It's kind of weird how it changes day to day.
The photo at the top is how we told our family. Shawn walked into his parents house wearing his shirt and I sent this picture to my family members. It was pretty fun to see their surprise!

I can't believe we are due 5 days apart! That is so cool! I hear you on the constant hunger thing but nothing sounding good. That is so annoying. We should get together sometime and compare notes. Congratulations to both of you!
