Last year for our work Christmas party, we had a catered dinner with entertainment and raffles. This year, the economy forced us to downsize, and instead we had a pot luck where our boss made us balloon hats.

Shawn's birthday and fun with balloons
This is Shawn's picture from his birthday. We had really yummy cheesecake with the Irwins.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow
It snowed this morning. A lot. It took forever to drive to work, but I do love the snow!!

This was me trying to get the snow off my car this morning.
Shawn at lunch when we were playing in the snow a little bit.

This is from saturday. We went to Shawn's family's Christmas party. There was about 70 people there. It was pretty fun and it is always good to see family every now and then. Shawn's brother-in-law Stan was Santa.

All I want for Christmas...
Every year the Herald does a gift guide where we give gift ideas. Each person in the newsroom gets to choose 3 gifts that they want, one under $25, one $26-150 and one $150+. This is one of mine.

Scrapbook Expo
This last weekend I went to St. George with some women from my scrapbook club, and we went to the first ever Scrapbook USA Expo down there. It was a fun weekend with very little sleep and tons of scrapping and shopping.

This is us (excluding Michelle who was taking the pic).
This is some of us with the Cricut.
There is a LONG story behind the next 4 pictures, and so these are for Colette, Kristy, Brittany and Michelle.

update......
We have been so busy lately and I thought I would update the past couple of weeks worth of stuff.
Shawn and I went and voted yesterday. I love voting. I know that sounds corny, but I get so excited for elections and we are so passionate and when you get to have your opinion heard it is great! I spent the night at work keeping the website updated with National, State and Local results. Election nights in the newsroom are so busy and fun. I finally left work at about 2 a.m. after we got the results finished online. I had to be back at work this morning at 8, and I am totally running off Diet Mountain Dew now.
Anyways, I have some photos that I have been horrible about uploading. They are from the past few weeks.

So at the games this year they sell this new thing called a Brat Tail. They have sold the Cougar Tails for years, which are really long maple bars (like 18 inches). The Brat Tail uses a Cougar Tail, cuts it like a hot dog bun and they put a 1/3 pound Bratwurst in between the two pieces of the maple bar with the frosting on the inside. They also put grilled onions on it. Our food reviewer from the paper was doing a review of it and Shawn tried it with him. We later found out that it has 865 calories and 69 grams of fat. :) Shawn says it tastes like a sausage with maple syrup on it.

I will update HALLOWEEN PICTURES when I get a chance!!!
